Tags are a type of pet equipment introduced in Torchlight II, replacing the ability to equip your pet with Rings, as was possible in the previous game. A pet can equip two tags at a time, with or without a Collar equipped. Like Rings, Tags have Elemental Armor as their base property, and often include enchantments such as stat boosts. Like Rings and Necklaces though, their properties are typically inferior to what a Collar's effects give them.

Pet Collars and Tags are often obtained from promising or secret fishing holes.
