Shadow Burst is a Berserker skill in Torchlight II. It is the level 1 active skill from the Shadow tree.
Description
You transform into a spectral wolf and lunge through your enemies, damaging them even as you heal your own body. Shadow bursts also has a chance to immediately destroy the shields of any foes struck.
- Cooldown: 0.7 seconds
- Heals X% of your Health for up to 2 targets struck
- Inflicts Y% of Weapon DPS as Electric
- 25% Chance to destroy enemy shields
- Does not generate Charge

Tier Bonus
- Tier I Bonus
- Healing can be derived from 3 targets per Burst. Chance to destroy shields is increased to 50%.
- Tier II Bonus
- Healing can be derived from 4 targets per Burst. Chance to destroy shields is increased to 75%.
- Tier III Bonus
- Healing can be derived from 5 targets per Burst. Chance to destroy shields is increased to 100%.
Notes
Shadow Burst is an excellent skill to use throughout the game. While lunging you are invincible, which allows you to dodge attacks if timed right. Even at level 1 you can recover 10% of your health(5% per enemy) per casting, and due to the low mana requirements you can keep it up almost constantly. You should, however, use a few normal attacks between Shadow Bursts as this skill generates no charge.
